Antarean Dragons are peaceful creatures shrouded in mystery. They are primarily found in the desert where they get most of their energy from sunbathing. Their most notable traits are their highly reflective manes and the mysterious light emitted by their scales which fades from bright, nearly blinding yellow-white into dim red as the dragons get older. Legend claims that they are otherworldly beings that came to this world when a meteor struck.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Olirean is capricious and prone to thinking she's right all the time, but she means well (usually). She likes moss, for looking at, though not much moss is to be found in the Deserto Arinoso, and most mossy logs and rocks brought to her from far away don't remain mossy for long. Nobody around can remember where she picked up this interest. She has a habit of thinking her family and neighbors are unhealthier than they really are; a few coughs or a limp will cause her to seek out mana or medicinal succulents to treat them, even if they insist they're going to be fine.
