Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two heads and seems very inquisitive.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
User Description
The inner walls of the cave of Zeros and Ones' parents are covered in 0 and 1 symbols. There isn't a single square horn of stone wall that isn't scribbled in charcoal. According to her, the symbols represent a type of numbering system where one assumes they have two fingers to count on. This is very confusing to the other dragons who can simply think values into the heads of others—there's no reason to write it down, and in such a drawn-out way, too. This fascination is attributed to general gilded bloodscale weirdness. More confusingly, Zeros and Ones also has a method to turn all single characters into strings of 0s and 1s, lengthening text substantially and making it impossible to read. What use this dragon's coding system has is hard to imagine, but the heads like to babble excitedly to each other about the possibilities the future holds.
