A shy and flighty breed, Tangledrakin are quick to flee at the slightest unexpected movement. Due to the unique nature in which their horns grow, Tangledrakin heads are incredibly in sync with each other, allowing these dragons to move as quickly and decisively as if they had one head. Despite the seeming discomfort one would expect from their entwined horns, these dragons have embraced their tangled unity, respectfully declining any offered aid to separate them. Tangledrakin use their bellowing, musical calls to communicate with each other over long distances, warning others of danger or as a method to find lost family members and potential mates. Tangledrakin are natural cultivators, tending to local flora and fauna in peaceful and prosperous regions.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.
User Description
Straight and Narrow Path hatched while her parents were on one of their journeys, and though she handled being on the move well, she came to dislike frequent travel. She resides in unit 14 of the Candor Cave Complex in Aquebecker, where on some days, she just lies on her belly for hours. Aside from anything business-related and the rare outing with friends and family, she doesn't like leaving her hometown, and when told of the wide world and all the things to experience, Straight typically responds with the various ways the world is too much, while Narrow Path goes on about all the great things Aquebecker has already.
