Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. It and its sub-regions and settlements have names, but she doesn't remember any of them, and she often forgets the name "Cumbres" as well. The name recorded in various documents, "Junny", is a misspelling, though a misspelling of what isn't known, and it's been years since she answered to anything but "Junny". Many dragons wonder where she came from and whether she's here by choice, since ultraviolets are a rare sight and are thought to live in drier environments.
