Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

SnowyGem is a White Dragon hatchling who loves the winter. He likes to play in deep snow drifts. He's tunneled into the snow making his own little snow-cave. He loves to watch big clusters of snowflakes falling. He is friends with SecretWinterMoon, a shy Ice Dragon. Both of them like to play snowy hatchling games, though SnowyGem joins in the games far more often. SnowyGem is also very talented, he's a great singer. His voice is pure and clear. He sometimes performs with his mother's band, 'True Blue Musicians' but only for a song or two.
