Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

BrightSnowGem is a Snow Angel Dragon who loves music. When she was a hatchling, she was given a human flute by a human. BrightSnowGem had been so fascinated by the human instrument, that she came day after day to see the little girl practice her flute. When that girl was an old woman, she gifted her flute to the little hatchling BrightSnowGem. It took her a few centuries to be able to play the human-sized flute, but she outgrew it as she aged. She now has a delicate flute modeled after the original, but built for a dragon to play it by the amazing inventor DreamsTwoKnight. BrightSnowGem is a member of the 'True Blue Musicians' an all dragon musical group.
