It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Mustached Dove loves two things, and two things only. His mustache and lady dragons. He is seen everyday grooming his mustache: cleaning it, combing it, removing bugs. When he isn't tending to his manly mustache, he is hitting on single female dragons. Most of the time, he gets a tailwhip to the face, and other times, he gets a date, only to drop her for another serpentine beauty. His parents, as well as arya10, fear for him. His lineage requires him to be with only one mate as long as he lives, and right now, he looks to be struggling with that.
