Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Despite its small size, it is a very aggressive hunter.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sawwy has a tongue that often escapes his mouth and goes wandering and a party hat that has so far resisted removal from his head. He gives every new thing he encounters a nibble, though someone who mistakenly calls him "Sawyer" receives a harder, less appreciative nibble. He's accidentally damaged a lot of stuff, and most folks assume he will stop biting so much once he's a little older. At least at school, he understands nibbling dragons is a no-no, and doing so will cost him recess time, a period he uses to hunt. He likes the color brown, so his room at home has a lot of brown things, and his nest is made almost entirely out of brown materials. When wands and staves go missing, there's a good chance Sawwy was responsible, and he may even be gnawing on the thing when he's found. Magical mishaps have occurred from his toothy toying, though he has yet to learn from them. In fact, he hopes to figure out one of the spells he accidentally cast so he can give other people party hats, too.
