Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Romeo Leo fell into the lap of Thorn Celestial one sunny day, and to this day nobody knows where he came from. His destiny seemed apparent from the start, as Juliet Gemini was drawn to his egg, not leaving it for food or sleep, and staying devotedly by it throughout the hatching. As a hatchling, many of the carers worried about him, for he spent little time with the other hatchlings at all, wanting to be only with Juliet. His magnificent voice, which many admired, was only heard when he sung love ballads to her, and it was then that his Cave first heard Juliet's voice singing in return. The two were impossible to separate, and upon him ascending to adult hood, she moved with him into the Leo Clan, where they constantly regale each other with songs of their love. If any dragon has problems with love in the Cave, they will come to Romeo and Juliet, as their destined love has never once wavered.
