White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Iophiel takes overwhelmingly after her mother.  She is calm and caring, a sister to every dragon in the cave; this makes her a bit reluctant to mate with anyone in the clan, as it's odd to go mating with your brother.  Even Dukl, the playboy, shows more respect to her than he does to any other unattached female dragon in the clan.  If the lack of a mate bothers her, Iophiel doesn't let it show.  Young hatchlings keep her busy enough.
