Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Bejelf grew up among the gemshard knots
Where her father Pikshh fit in with ease
And hunted ants while he sought apricots,
A happy wyrmling, easy to appease.
A firegem approached the drove one day
and every gemshard hid from him in fear
But he explored as if he meant to stay.
Unwary, Bejelf asked what brought him here.
"I have a message," Murcurial began,
"For Pikshh, from Ovjun--"
-- Bejelf shot away
To fetch her father from their hiding clan.
He came, afraid of what she had to say.
Ovjun was Bejelf's mother and she wrote
Apologies for having flown away
While Bejelf never got to read the note,
It marked a change. Ovjun came to play,
But never with the shards. She would not stay.
Years later, Bejelf met a nebula
Whose name at first she struggled to pronounce
Grounded by a broken scapula.
What happened next, there are no clear accounts,
But soon she'd helped him climb high up a tree
To watch the stars above the canopy.
