Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bryan Fuller was considered a menace to Jashypoo as she was raising him. When he matured and left her care, he learned all he could about the world he lived in. He found out that he had a gift for storytelling and could make any story very compelling. It was this that made him start to think about forming a clan.

When Jashypoo told him to look after an egg and not bite it, Bryan reluctantly agreed. However, he found the hatchling to be a good companion and an avid learner. He called him Maw Vong and was sad to let him go when Jashypoo returned.

After he sired his first dragon and was starting to actually form his clan, he met up with Maw again. During their time together he realized that he felt love for the dragon and the two became mates. Bryan marked Maw with a scar that goes from one side of his face to the other as a reminder that Maw was now his mate.
