Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

While most of the dragons in Shield Tail and Dark Drakon's herd possess magical powers, Lunar Moonbeam only employs magic that's powered by the moon. It is unknown if he personally chose it to be that way or if he is unable to utilize other forms of magic. Regardless of the reason, because Lunar Moonbeam's magical abilities are fueled by the moon, he is much stronger at night than he is in the day.
