Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bes-Baraka is a lively and mischievous soul, a close friend of Hathor-Hatshepsut, with whom he has much in common. He loves to dance, though his movements are often a comical mimicry of Hathor's elegant grace. He enjoys making others laugh heartily, and believes a good belly laugh will do you—or anyone—all the good in the world. He loves children, both dragon and human, can often be found playing with them, and will guard them with his life if necessary. He has a particular magical gift for luck-bringing, and wherever he goes, good luck follows and problems seem to fade for humans and dragons alike. The humans associated with his clan value him highly for this, and often bring him sacrifices of meat, baked goods (he is extremely fond of sweet pastries), and valuables in order to thank him for his presence and urge him to remain with them.
