Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gorim Sunrise is the son of Siharra, and is at least as vain as his mother. He loves the attention of female dragons, but he cannot seem to bother binding himself to only one female, which eventually made all the females reluctant to react to his flirting. It hardly bothers him though as he seems to like his own reflection in the water pools more than anything else. The only one he can get along with is his own mother, who tells everyone that wants to hear it that she has the most beautiful son of all dragons. Most other dragons are quite tired of this, but still Gorim somehow manages to charm a female dragon every  now and then, even though he never stays around long enough to actually ever witness the birth of his offspring.
