Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Unlike her sire, this beautiful silver-coated dragoness does not seek solitude in the chill craggy reaches of the foggy peaks, but rather ponders existence in the stillness of a mountain spring. There, basking in the warm sun, her scales glitter like stars upon the glass-smooth waters as she gazes deep into the spring's depths. She does not sing mournfully as does her father, lamenting of the world's griefs, but rather sings soft and low to the small mountainous songbirds of innocent times gone by. They frequently gather around her to listen, and she takes delight in their simple company.
