Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Little Ebony Flame is the shyest of all the Eternal Hatchlings. While newly hatched, Little Ebony Flames' original clan was attacked by a clan of berserk Vampire dragons. Almost killed by the clan of murderers, Ebony Flames survived only by the swift arrival of The Silver Lord, Magical Soul, Shadows Blood, and Shadows Assassin. Despite the defeat of the vampire dragons, Little Ebony Flame would still have died except for the swift magic of Magical Soul. Because of this incident, Little Ebony Flame is often frightened by any quick movement, or loud noise.
