Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Raised by her parents in a very sheltered environment, Anyora had always been the typical good girl dragon  until she had an egg and her mate ran off, abandoning her with their child and leaving her alone and terrified.  Seeing no other options, Anyora fled her familys mountainside home with the hatchling to try to find someone who could help her in the valley village. When, exhausted and barely alive, she stumbled into Carian (the handsome and steady son of one of the wisest dragons in the village) she was surprised to find how interested and concerned he was in her situation. With his assistance and encouragement, Anyora slowly began to recover, and within several months she was finally able return to her parents and show them their grandchild and her new mate. Carian and Anyora now live in a cozy cave at the foot of the mountains, near enough to her parents that she can visit them frequently but also close to the company and socialization of the other dragons in town.
