Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The child of Beren and Camry, Ono inherited his father's love for adventure. He is always wandering here and there and everywhere in search of it, and has become famous as a kind of wandering savior. He has many wounds to testify for it too. His tales are the always the hatchlings favorite, and they always hound him for stories when he comes home. Sometimes he picks up exotic eggs on his journeys, one of which was a black marrow, who grew up to be his mate, Black Crows. Everyone else thinks she's ugly, but Ono is convinced that she simply has an unusual sort of beauty.
