Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As the leader of the trio known as the cloud-makers, Cuvaro, which, in ancient draconic, means "cloud changer", is in charge of actually producing the clouds over the clan out of water vapor.  Cuvaro's job is the most important out of all the cloud-makers, for without him the sky would constantly be cloudless.  Unlike his father, Stratoz, Cuvaro actually enjoys his clan duty, and realizes its importance.

     Cuvaro, unlike most who have no strong allegiance in the war, is anti-mint.  He found it far easier to get along with his family if he fought with them, and also saw the importance of the sky.  Cuvaro is not one of the winged dragons' most dedicated fighters, but every dragon counts, as there are far more that are pro-mint than anti-mint.
