White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Xeva Snowfeather, before she met Taccu, was very shy and easily prone to being dominated, manipulated, and bullied by the other members of her community.  Meeting Taccu was a relief—despite his problems, he was rarely less than kind, and always seemed grateful for her help.  With Taccu's support, Xeva is gradually beginning to become more confident, and some of her former tormentors are beginning to eye her with newfound respect.
