Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Named after two stars of inhabited solar systems, SolUrra, as a social light, gathers information for the Dragonreaper. He is also a little bit of an astronomer, but that is mostly left up to his rival, LunaUo.

Despite SolUrra's use of gathering information, he does it very casually as he wouldn't want anyone to be hesitant to talk to him otherwise. He does love a good conversation and does wish to befriend the other dragons, if at least for popularity's sake, something which he prizes. SolUrra is not above listening to the young, as they often observe things of importance adults do not, but any time he spends with hatchlings, he attempts to make it look like he's good with youths and nothing more.
