Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tuistra, meaning "maze shaper" in ancient draconic, is obsessed with building gigantic underground labyrinths.  He makes many secret tunnels and caverns, and it is said that his creations have even more secret passages than lake Hydrani.  A few dragons have even decided to inhabit these amazing passageways, but they are mostly vine dragons (all part of Tuistra's bloodline), who live underground anyway.

     Unlike his mother, Terraiga, Tuistra is not actively fighting against the winged dragons.  Many have noticed that Tuistra has not seen the sun since word of the war started, and vine dragons have sworn that he and Athemune have been conspiring on some secret plan.  No one knows for sure what Tuistra's plan is, but this obsessed dragon, whatever he is plotting, will certainly have a surprise for the winged dragons.
