Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Terraiga (Her name means 'fierce earth' in ancient draconic) is extremely ferocious, and will attack anything and anyone that sneaks up on her unexpectedly.  She was the only green dragon in the clan at the time of the construction of the royal palace, so Valcigni reluctantly enlisted her to be in charge of the repair of the original castle.  While Terraiga did a good job of constructing the castle, she has not been able to make many necessary repairs from the yearly wear of the tower.  The king is absolutely terrified of her and has been known to even faint at her presence.

     Terraiga is a fierce supporter of the mint royalty.  She wants the castle she created to remain on the earth instead of a possession of the sky.  Also, although she won't admit it, she likes being able to scare the king, and enjoys her position in the clan hierarchy.  Terraiga also knows that even though she has wings, she would always be regarded as a ground creature by the winged dragons.
