Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Olden is a creature rooted in history, as was hinted at by the secret name given to him when his egg was first laid, PaST. He does not particularly like change and was one of the first water-dwelling dragons to rebel when the clan started talk of expanding the lake located outside of the mountain's caves; to him, the idea of modifying historical landmarks is repugnant and something to be avoided at all costs. His attitude put him at direct odds with his father, who was the leader of the group demanding the expansion. Their rivalry is a fierce and bitter one, and it has caused much discomfort among other members of the clan.
