Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Criteria is the leader of a large group among the water-dwelling dragons of the clan. They wish to expand their humble lake which has grown crowded in recent years, to give them all more swimming room. He serves both as an ambassador to the landlocked dragons and as the leader of those digging out the streams which feed the lake, doing everything he can to expand their territory. Criteria is often at odds with his son, Olden, who does not support their efforts, but he is otherwise a peaceful dragon, diplomatic and good at talking others into his point of view.
