Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rafflesia the Beautiful is the first moonstone born to her parents, and because of her very easy going nature she is doted upon. Her brothers and sisters, both half and whole, bring her sweets and are ready to lend a hand should she ask. Her father is more protective of her than some of the other offspring because she is almost exactly like her mother. Though she is not vocal she values manners and niceties above all else and is the perfect mate for her half-brother Sun Warrior the Dangerous. Sun Warrior dotes on her more than any of the other dragons, giving her the best gems he can find for her individual horde.
