Bolt Dragons are incredibly powerful dragons with the ability to wield lightning magic. They can be ruthless on occasion, but are generally mild unless provoked. Due to their intelligence and keen observational skills, it is incredibly arduous to attack a Bolt Dragon undetected. If threatened by a formidable opponent, Bolt Dragons will flare out their fin-like appendages to make themselves look more menacing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Odty1 is the uniquely odd mate Od3TY, and since both have sworn off of evenness, they make an odd couple. She is much jumpier than he is, bouncing around to counteract his lazy strolling. Of course, she is less manually dexterous—indeed, she is challenged with any form of manual, from monster manuals and instruction manuals to non-automagic "manual" doors. She likes to talk about extradimentional subterranean geology, off-brand brand-name products, and political comedy—all topics that she has become an expert on from listening to some sounds he has extracted from the invisible rays sent out by KQED, a striped-river dragon that lives in a delta thousands of kilometers away. He dislikes the laws of psionics, quasars, and alphabet soup that is in a language he cannot read. On saturdays around noon, he is a devout worshiper of "spell ling Czech errs" although at no other time does he show any religious interest in anything.
