Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Clark is one of the many dragons rescued and nurtured by the wide ranging clan of humans founded by AnselaJonla. His egg was found in the desert sands and taken to a hatchery to be raised.

Once he matured, he found his lifemate, a Nebula dragon, among the other AnselaJonla dragons. In the tradition of the AnselaJonla flock, both dragons took the same name, Estel, to pass down to any of their offspring that remained within the flock.

Clark loves to read, and is always seen pacing outside of Meghan's library cave as she patiently picks something out to read. His favourite book is a huge map of the night skies, with names and stories of all the things he can see up there. It's not surprising he ended up with a Nebula for a mate, with his obsession over all things celestial.
