White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ceodore is rather self conscious of his lineage and finds it hard to live up to his family's reputation. Both of his parents and all of his older siblings are accomplished and well known magicians and healers. Ceodore himself struggles with magic and finds it difficult to heal anything harder than a slight cut.

His father Whyte knows the problem behind this is Ceodore's self doubt in his abilities and believes that once he overcomes this he will be able to unlock his full potential.
