Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. This young dragoness is stuck with a name she abhors, all just because of family tradition. It's all well and nice having a long standing tradition, especially one coming down through the proud female line of her ancestors. It's a sweet idea that the oldest daughter shall bear the name of her mother. It really is. If it just had been a nice, normal draconic name—like Grazondra or Nespariyelle—but, no, it had to be Cyndi. And just because of that stupid fad of giving your hatchling a human name that was all so hip among dragons a few generations back.
