Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Young lives at the foot of the mountains in the south of the clan's lands. She often visits the forests at the foot of her mountains and has started a friendship with a unicorn living there. Young believes that all intelligent people should work together and that the immortal creature has a lot more in common with a dragon than the humans her clan semi-regularly confers with. She hopes that she can win her over as a true ally, as its magic would be a great asset if a crisis occurred.
