Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hombar has a fascination (some dragons would say an unhealthy fixation) with human machinery.  He can always be found using telekinesis to take something apart to see how it works or to assemble a machine and try to get it to run.  Hombar's inventions rarely function according to plan, and usually explode or collapse, so between that and the mess of disassembly his scales are always pitted and stained with oil.  His parents have just about given up on his ever finding a mate, since all that he wants to talk about are his beloved machines, but still hope that someday he'll meet a female with an equal love of tinkering.
