Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Airlea doesn't remember much about her past, only that the Dark Sun has raised her since she was little. Like all autumn dragons should be, she is always washed over by a soft, melancholic sadness. The setting sun makes her eyes teary for its goodbye. As she watches falling leaves, she grieves for all plants that will soon enter a long, freezing winter. The stories of faraway lands in the cries of the winds lacerate her heart. The way she thinks and acts earns her the name Airlea, which means 'ethereal'.

After the clan's daily activities, she can usually be found on her favorite cliff, nurturing her sore feet and admiring the delicate, poetic beauty of the moon. There, she will rest her head over the scar on her left fore leg, a scar from the hatchling time that she received when she jumped over this very cliff to save a dying flower. Then as the night embraces her in his strong arms, Airlea will think of how she loves the Dark Sun and slowly falls into a deep sleep.
