Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Killer Rabbit was just an egg, his mother accidentally knocked him from the nest. He rolled into a valley where he was adopted by a family of rabbits and raised as such. He behaved much like a large rabbit until a fox tried to eat a rabbit-sibling, and he promptly roasted the fox. Eventually he and his rabbit family separated and he found his way to Emmaline's cave, where he adopted his own abandoned baby rabbit and raised it to be dragon-like. This rabbit helps protect the cave and has been called the most foul, cruel, and bad tempered rodent you have ever set eyes on.
