Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Molten Ember is a calm confident, and controlled dragoness. Though she appears gentle and serene, the image of the perfect healer, Molten Ember has a hidden side. This sweet dragoness, is incredibly obsessed with human weapons. With the knowledge of how to make and use any human weapon, along with certain techniques to better them, Molten Ember has earned her position of clan Black Smith. Confident in her abilities, Molten Ember takes any shed scales belonging to herself, or Fools Gold, and melts them down to use in a special, secret recipe for any weapons that she makes. Despite her preference for laughing madly whenever fighting in battle, or her habit of cooing, and treating any weapon like a human infant, Molten Ember has become a famous Black Smith. In fact, she's so famous, that human's and dragons alike come from far and wide to buy weapons, and to have specially made armor created for them.
