Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While this dragon's parents are quite ferocious, he... notably isn't. Nervous and clumsy, he prefers to spend his days reading rather than battling, finding the history of fighting to be more interesting than the execution of it. But there's another thing he's keenly interested in, as well: the traditions and customs of naming. This arose in no small part due to his distress about whether his last name is 'proper;' his brothers and sisters seem to claim the Kamoril or Draken name as they please, but he's certain that only one or the other can be proper, and he just has to make sure he's on the right side.
