Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Bane's egg was stolen by a gang of thieves, and no sooner had he hatched then they began beating him, forcing him to eat innocents they kidnapped, planning to turn him into a weapon that they could control and use to demand tribute from the surrounding villages. One night he was able to escape by biting through the chains that held him, but the damage was done, and he had gone insane from being forced to eat human flesh. Unable to readjust to other forms of sustenance, Bane feeds on humans, spurning all other forms of food unless they add to the flavors of his meals. He always cooks meat before eating it, grabbing a stick in his mouth and irritating red dragons until they shoot a few flames at him, lighting the branch. When this happens, he rushes home and adds it to a pile of dried timber, and gleefully roasts his prey over it. He often has heated arguments with other dragons that prefer raw meat, wailing that they don't appreciate its true potential.
