Edged in Purple Carnation is a subject of great annoyance to Ly'Shanra. He is an incessant flirt and while he means no harm she cannot stand his flirting with her while he flirts with everyone else. Perhaps she wouldn't mind if she was the only one he flirted with, but she nearly despises him sometimes when she come across him flirting with other people after just showering her with his affections.

Ly'Shanra is practical and level headed. She is rarely truly angry and she wonders sometimes if Carnation could make her feel happy too rather than just rouse her anger.
