When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Akutorni inherited magical powers from his mother Xaviz, and instead of merely swimming in water, he can control it.  Akutorni (his name means "windy water" in ancient draconic) has been known to create tsunamis when angry, greatly disrupting the natural balance of the lake in which he lives.  Akutorni can also spray large jets of water at anything bothering him.  While he often annoys the other water dragons, they know better to complain, as it is never a good idea to anger him.

Akutorni is one of the few water dragons that will actually be able to fight in the war.  He plans to use his great control of water to even the odds in the battle.  Normally, Akutorni can only raise his tsunamis to be about 15 meters high.  However, when Xaviz channels the volcano's magical energy into him, Akutorni is able to make walls of water that can even reach the clouds.
