Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

BlancaSerpentine is an immature dragon that was prevented from growing to adulthood for some odd reason that has not been determined yet. There are suspicions that someone didn't give her the proper food as another dragon raised at the same time suffers from the same condition and they may have been raised on the same food. However, despite her immaturity, the other dragons of the Shadows Serpentine herd accept her as one of their one and they dote on her. She was named Blanca, the Spanish word for white, for her coloration and her last name is Serpentine to indicate the herd she belongs to. <br/>Since she is a white dragon, she has the ability to heal, but her powers are not as strong as a mature white dragon would have.
