Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blue is pretty much convinced that he once saw—and then lost—the most beautiful, stunning, impressive shade of azure ever imaginable. He caught a glimpse of perfection, and if it had been on a dragoness (or dragon) he would have followed that creature to the end of time itself. Yet from what little he remembers from that brief moment in time that pinnacle of beauty was the shade of a rather simple wooden box. The box disappeared before he could reach it and none of the humans living close by owned up to have placed (or taken away) a blue, wooden shed. And so Blue simply pines for that one perfect memory hoping beyond hope to bring the box back just by wishing really hard.
