Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This happy little Christmas dragon, Grinch Stole the Music, was born deaf. Though he can hear the telepathic speaking of his fellow dragons, he has never been graced with the beauty of the joyful music so popular with the rest of the Christmas dragons. He longed for nothing more than to hear one sweet Christmas tune.

One day, he came across a very old and famous Magi elder, Flipendo Veles. Flipendo had been said to have the most powerful magic in all of EG's Cave. Flipendo was instantly taken by this hatchling's happy demeanor and cuteness. Grinchy told Flipendo of his only wish, and with his powerful magic, Flipendo granted Grinchy with hearing. However, even with powerful magic, the effects were only temporary. All of the Christmas dragons gathered together and sang him beautiful Christmas tunes for hours until the effects of the magic wore off.

To this day Grinchy travels with Flipendo as his personal apprentice, helping to grant wishes for other dragons on Christmas day.
