Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lena Noelle, a dear dragon to EG's heart, is one of the most determined and analytical dragons in EG's Cave. She has a fascination with the arts; she constantly flies near the Bazara Village to listen to the sweet music coming from the windows of the houses. She even tends to hum her own songs as she hunts for food. In addition to her fascination with the arts, she is fascinated with science. She adores studying anatomy of other creatures and studying flowers and plants, and she often begs other dragons to bring her new information and have deep discussions with her about the state of the universe.

Being a cave elder, Lena Noelle has, to the council of elders, proposed starting a sort of school for the higher education of dragons. She wishes to show her vast amounts of knowledge to others in EG's Cave. The elders have not been too keen on the idea, but with Lena Noelle's determined nature, she is sure that she will eventually have her way.
