Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Suna Suripa is a very lazy dragon. He spends most of the day sleeping under the blaring rays of the sun, stretched out on the hot sand, taking in as much heat as he can. He barely moves from the spot he has picked out in the early morning though he will occasionally get up if his stomach bids him to do so. Sometimes he even gets thirsty enough to pick apart a prickly cactus all by himself.

His name means 'Sand Sleeper'.
