Imperial Fleshcrownes are an active and playful breed. They are equally good at flying and climbing and while they are not good swimmers, they love to take an occasional dip. Fleshcrownes live in large social groups called “communities.” Adult Fleshcrownes share the responsibility of looking after the young, who are very playful and active. Even after maturing, they retain their curious and mischievous natures, often getting into trouble. The fleshy crowns on their head can be raised at will, and are usually erect when happy, excited, or scared. Fleshcrownes—being a very peaceful breed—are more prone to flight than fight. If threatened, they can raise their crowns while hissing in an attempt to scare off predators.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Zinjoy loves the thrill of coordinating an event, and watching the crowd roar in excitement as he announces the next act. Zinjoy has dedicated his life to showbiz. Every month, dragons and humans alike put aside their differences to attend the latest event put on by the Drazz Troupe, lead by an enthusiastic Fleshcrowne. The Troupe is made up of performers, actors, musicians and writers totaling about 150 members of mixed races and species. What started as a small group of friends putting on plays every few weeks turned into one of the greatest examples of cooperation between man and dragon, and at its head is Zinjoy. When there is a wrench in production, Zinjoy is there to fix it. When the composers have writer's block, he is there to help them along. If the actors aren't doing the scene right, no doubt he will be up on that stage guiding them step-by-step. Through all the close calls and over the rocks on the road, the Drazz Troupe hasn't missed a monthly performance in 60 years.
