When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
A more confident member of the Magistride siblings, at least among the Water Dragons. Delphine is a born adventurer, thriving on the thrill of riding the ocean tides and seeing new sights. He prefers solitude, usually traveling on his own, away from his large family. He's extremely friendly, though, if a little socially inept. He doesn't always know how to react in conversation and will often create awkward moments he can't back himself out of (this is especially so around females.) He loves to try new things, for better or for worse. He has a bit of a problem with not asking enough questions. Delphine very often gets himself into rough situations by flying blind and not reading the fine print. He tends to take everything at face value, which can lead to his detriment in many scenarios. He does, however, always try to assume the best of other dragons, no matter how malicious, cruel, or damaged they may be. He's a genuine optimist for sure.
