Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ebony is a very mysterious dragon, she is different from the other black dragons and has no idea why she was born that way. Although none other like her have passed this way she knows there is others like her out there. She spends most of her time staring up into the sky in deep thought, and has not been one for much romance, she takes a male during mating season, but then she leaves him alone, choosing another male next season. The only chance for a permanent mate she will ever have is if another like her comes along, which she often hopes for when a shooting star crosses her eyesight. Besides that she is often a solitary and aggressive dragon, but low in dominance to the others.
