Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It skitters around in the shadows, seemingly repelled by light.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
This hatchling likes to pretend to play music on his skeletal markings. With a front claw, he will tap on the markings as though playing a tune. With his back claw, out of sight of viewers, he will simultaneously rap on a hollow log he keeps just for these performances.
The effect is very believable. Visitors often walk away thinking he needs more to eat, because his has no fat on his bones to muffle the music.
