Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
"The last time a dark green dragon destroyed your turnip patch you vowed not to take them in anymore, now they're growing around your house like crazy."
Shrugging at her sister's remark, the witch just bandaged her own ankle that was adorned with tiny teeth marks. "They make amazing fences, though."
They stared at this dragon that was responsible for the damage. The hatchling was still clinging to the shredded slipper, tangled vines and all, wrestling and rolling it on the dirt. He remained oblivious that he was the topic of the conversation, more preoccupied with the mangled footwear. "A man-eating fence, you mean," the younger herbalist mumbled. "They can chew off people's limbs!"
Of course, the witch knew this all too well. Her legs and toes were almost subject to this; it was a miracle she could keep them intact."Don't worry, sister. I'll let you know if somebody loses a foot."
The dragon eventually matured, still attacking everything within reach, including harmless slippers.
